It’s not so often that venturing into the Tasmanian wilderness provides tranquil nights, but on our backpacking trip into The Labyrinth, an alpine plateau littered with tarns, we were gifted with a full moon and not even a breath of wind. Aside from the torrent of insects that swarmed around me, the night was perfect.

Mount Geryon’s dolerite peak reflected enchantingly in Lake Elysia’s inky blue water and milky clouds partially hid the brightly glowing moon, allowing a collection of stars to shimmer in the dark night sky.

Every image you see here has been thoughtfully shot and edited by Dylan Mancinelli, the co-creator of Tracks Less Travelled.

For any purchases outside of Tasmania we recommend sourcing a local framer in order save on freight and avoid potential damage to the glass.
