Scrambling up the white quartzite dome of Frenchman’s Cap in the minutes before dawn, guided by the soft yellow glow of our head torches, we were oblivious to the scene that would soon unfold before us.

Then the sun peeked above the distant mountains and the darkness evaporated to reveal an entrancing landscape dominated by dramatic peaks and plunging valleys. But the morning continued to leave us breathless as the sun’s rays began to slice through the jagged ridgelines and the low clouds created a river between the steep slopes.

For any purchases outside of Tasmania we recommend sourcing a local framer in order save on freight and avoid potential damage to the glass.
